Standard Controls’ Process Controls group has more than 100 years of combined experience engineering, drafting, assembling, programming and testing control panels for industrial OEMs and end-use customers. Standard Controls delivers control systems that optimize process efficiency, reliability, safety, quality and effectiveness. We are a UL508A panel shop with full AutoCAD 2-D and 3-D design capabilities.

We maintain a full staff of highly experienced, degreed electrical engineers, application engineers, drafters, programmers, project managers and support staff to work closely with our customers at all stages of the project to ensure the design and delivery of the perfect solution for the specific application.

Our state-of-the-art Precision Metal Fabrication facility, with a centerpiece 2009 4000 watt Amada Laser Cutting System with auto loader, along with our mechanical design engineering staff utilizing AutoCAD Inventor 3-D modeling, provides the ability to design fully customized enclosures on demand, as well as modify existing enclosures, and create specialty brackets, structural members, skid mounted enclosures, or other precision metal parts, as needed.

Standard Controls’ manufacturing systems emphasize speed, quality, efficiency, cost control and meet exacting customer requirements through the use of ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, a modular and concurrent manufacturing approach, and the use of Malcolm Baldrige criteria as a foundation for Standard Controls’ Quality Management System.

To get started, just send us your:

• Motor list, I/O list and the environmental conditions in which the control panel would be installed and we can design the system from scratch, providing the control panel drawings in either AutoCAD or PDF format for review.
• An existing “similar but not exactly like” set of prints plus the list of changes or modifications you need and we will modify the drawings as you request.
• A complete set of new drawings – NEMA or IEC style – and we will review the drawings for UL compliance before proceeding to build the panel you expect.   We understand and can work from European drawing sets as well.
