Standard Controls’ Process Controls group has more than 100 years of combined experience engineering, drafting, assembling, programming, and testing control panels for industrial OEMs and end-use customers. Standard Controls delivers control systems that optimize process efficiency, reliability, safety, quality, and effectiveness. We are a UL508A panel shop with full AutoCAD 2D and 3D design capabilities. We maintain a full staff of highly experienced degreed electrical engineers, application engineers, drafters, programmers, project managers, and support staff to work closely with our clients at all stages of the project to ensure the design and delivery of the perfect solution for the specific application. Our state of the art precision metal fabrication facility, the centerpiece a 2009 4000 Watt Amada Laser Cutting System with autoloader, along with our mechanical design engineering staff utilizing AutoCAD Inventor 3-D modeling, provide the ability to design fully customized enclosures on demand, as well as modify existing enclosures, create specialty brackets, structural members, skid mounted enclosures, or other precision metal parts as needed. Standard Controls manufacturing systems emphasize speed, quality, efficiency, cost control, and meeting exacting customer requirements through the use of ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, a modular and concurrent manufacturing approach, and the use of Baldrige Quality criteria as a foundation for the Standard Controls' Quality Management System. With our experience and leadership in automation systems, Standard Controls has developed a high reputation for delivering integrated and improved process controls in a variety of industries, including: - Food and beverage
- Material handling
- Baggage handling
- Water and wastewater markets
- Commercial applications for fluid and HVAC controls
- Oil and gas
- Data centers and critical power applications
- Utility generation and distribution
Standard Controls’ mission is to work with our customers to provide the right solution for an application in a timely manner and to develop a system that is not only efficient now, but allows for timely, cost-effective upgrades and service in the future. We offer customers valuable engineering expertise, UL compliance assistance and cost-effective system improvement suggestions. We further invest time and effort to work with the customer in the design stage of the project to develop realistic cost estimates at the outset and avoid the surprise of costly change orders during the project. Benefits: - Eliminate costly change orders and surprises with design review for code compliance and technical alternatives in advance, also resulting in possible cost savings
- Our lean production facility - 55,000 square feet of dedicated climate controlled dedicated space, uses ISO 9001 systems and controls to ensure consistency and quality.
- Fully featured on-site Quality Control and Power Testing process for Factory Acceptance Testing
- Complete system test and testing certifications provided before shipment
- Choice to personally power test your control system in house at 575, 480, 480/277, 240, 2908/120, 120 VAC and 125, 48, and 24 VDC.
- Excellent OEM working relationships, purchasing agreements, and experience with all major industrial component manufacturers - Allen-Bradley, ABB, Eaton Cutler Hammer, General Electric, Square D, Schnieder, Siemens, and others. These strong relationships allow us the flexibility to provide the best alternatives for the application and procure and include the materials in order to provide (in most cases) cost and effort savings to our clients.
