Director of First Impressions

There is a wonderful opportunity awaiting the right person in our DFW office. Standard Controls, Inc. is a highly regarded premier supplier of automation products, and premium integrated, automated switchgear and switchboards for datacenters and the telecomm industry. The company was incorporated in 1994 and is located in Dallas, TX. Standard Controls, Inc. is made up of four divisions; Process Controls, Motor Controls, Mission Critical Power systems and Standard Solar & Wind (renewable energy). We currently have an opening as our Director of First Impressions. Core Duties:
The Director of First Impressions welcomes and directs visitors while maintaining a professional and orderly office atmosphere; ensures clients are provided with the highest level of hospitality; utilizes a computer-based, multi-line telephone system to answer and direct calls in a pleasant, professional manner; performs a variety of general office functions including filing, clerical tasks, mail and courier handling; sets up meeting reservations and assists with catering organization; assists the Controller/Director of Accounting with basic A/P and A/R functions while working together with the other team members to accomplish team goals.

Administrative Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Answering Telephones and Directing Calls
  • Greeting Visitors to the Office
  • Maintaining General & Client Filing System
  • Providing Administrative Support to Executive Management
  • Assisting with A/P and A/R
  • Data Entry
  • Copying and Scanning Documents

Requirements:
  • 1 to 5 Years Administrative Experience – General Accounting Experience a plus
  • Excellent Phone Rapport and Aptitude for Customer Service
  • Maintaining General & Client Filing System
  • Providing Administrative Support to Executive Management
  • Assisting with A/P and A/R
  • Data Entry
  • Copying and Scanning Documents
