Announcing Our Merger

June 28, 2017

RE:  Open Letter About Merger of Standard Controls and Standard Fabrication
with Assembletronics

In 2016, Bob Potysman, President and CEO of AssembleTronics, and Jon Loshinksy, CEO of Standard Controls and Standard Fabrication, were introduced to one another by a mutual business associate who observed that both men shared a common corporate and personal values system.  As Bob and Jon met, they began sharing their vision for building and operating a thriving high-quality manufacturing business in today’s challenging global marketplace. The culmination of their discussions was the merger of their business interests on June 16, 2017 when the business units of Standard Controls and Standard Fabrication became part of the AssembleTronics family. Bob Potysman is the President and CEO of the new combined entity and Jon Loshinsky will provide  technical expertise to the Mission Critical Power Division, Sales, Operations, and Strategic Business Development.

On Monday, June 19, the AssembleTronics (ATron) team and equipment joined the Standard Controls and Standard Fabrication teams at their corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility on Viscount Row in Dallas, Texas, which is now the 55,000 square-foot home of the new combined company. It has been an exciting process to look at this merger and see the wealth of complimentary core competencies coming together under one roof — a united team that is committed to protecting our clients’ brands by delivering excellence in manufacturing. We have prepared the attached company overview to help better illustrate our collective service offerings.

ATron is a manufacturing services company with emphasis in three key areas: Contract Assembly, Engineered Products, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Services for industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Communications, Automotive, Medical, Electronics and other Industrial Manufacturing. ATron runs the business, produces high quality outcomes, and eliminates risk through exacting execution under their AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.  All Standard Controls and Standard Fabrication product offerings will be incorporated into the ATron quality program within 90 days.

Now, as part of the AssembleTronics family, Standard Controls will continue to provide control systems integration, process controls, motor controls, engineering services and contract manufacturing services. Standard Fabrication will also continue to provide precision metal fabrication, engineering, prototype parts and production runs of all sizes.

We look forward to taking this next giant step in fulfilling our mission to Protect stakeholder brands while delivering an unmatched, extraordinary experience.’ We believe that the people we are bringing together have the talent, passion, and expertise to deliver an excellent experience to the customers of both companies.
