Standard Controls, Inc. acquires new state of the art Prima Power servo “The PUNCH” press

Dallas, Texas – November 29, 2011 - Standard Controls, Inc., an electrical and mechanical engineering, metal fabrication, and solar energy company, has made another major investment in its Made in the USA campaign.

We are proud to announce the acquisition of a new state of the art Prima Power (formerly Finn-Power) servo operated “The PUNCH” press. This turret punch press will be a great compliment to our existing Amada LASMAC laser cutter. Between these two machines and our talented operators, Standard Controls has the one-two punch to more efficiently and cost-effectively meet the needs of current and future customers.

“This is part of our overall plan to continue to expand our metal fabrication capability to increase business, lower costs and create jobs.  We are about to the point where we can engineer and manufacture about anything our industry may require, electrical or mechanical. We are also expanding our own product development capability in critical power, renewable energy, machine building and oil and gas industries.” – Jon Loshinky, President & CEO, Standard Controls, Inc.

In addition to the punch press, Standard Controls has recently added a milling machine, plate roller, metal lathe, Hager hardware insertion press and a wet timesaver for finishing and graining metal.

We look forward to putting our new one-two punch to work as we move forward making great products and creating jobs, right here in America.
